Fire Retardant

Cork is a naturally fire retardant material that will not release incandescent particles nor will it propagate flames. It slows or stops the spread of fire or reduces its intensity. Thermal CorkShield™ has a Class A Fire Rating according to ASTM E84-20 and CAN/ULC S102-10.

Eco friendly

The bark of the cork tree is removed every nine years causing large amounts of oxygen to be released by the tree into the environment. The tree will last for hundreds of years continuing to grow new bark for re-harvest. Thermal CorkShield™ is a green, naturally renewable resource.
